I was asked to write a bio about myself for the MND-S Public Affairs webpage at theredbulls.org. What I wrote didn’t make the cut. Now this is my bio. It doesn’t really matter what I have up as my bio on the site because none of my stories are on the website, so there’s no reason to learn about the author while perusing theredbulls.org.
I will post my bio as written for you my faithful readers:
Sergeant Adam Stone was born in Oklahoma City, OK. At the ripe age of 18, he joined the army as a switchboard operator and spent almost four years with the 125th Signal Battalion in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. Adam then separated from the Army in 2000. After working for a bankrupt telecom company, a friend and the government, Adam earned a degree in accounting from Texas Christian University (winners of the 2008 Poinsettia Bowl). His degree found a home inside the military-industrial-complex building pretty charts in excel. Adam enlisted in the reserves in 2007 as a broadcast journalist and is on his first deployment to Iraq with the 343rd MPAD supporting Multinational Division – South Public Affairs. Adam would like to thank his parents for having him and the 8lb 5oz Baby Jesus for allowing him to be in Basra.
Be sure to watch this video that has made the rounds on facebook. For those of you not on Facebook, watch Sassypants and I sing some Jet at the Sorority Soldier.

Hmm…no mention of the lovely wife who puts up with you…
Agree with Leslie…was just about to ask where she fit in!?
Maybe the decision makers are opposed the the Poinsettia Bowl.
I think the picture alone would supersede the need for a bio.
I like the Poinsettia Bowl line. But…no mention of Sammy Baugh in your TCU remarks??
Look at all of these critics. I can’t do anything creative in the Army, now I get nit-picked by the women in my life on my own blog.
