Video News
After 53 training days, this is what I make. It's a quasifake news story about the changes my class went through before I arrived.
I keep forgetting to white balance. That's why my subject matter expert looks yellow and some walls look green. White Balance is important. I'm putting this one up because it has me in it. The piece is very DINFOSrrriffffic. I hope you enjoy.

Terrific! More, more!
very clear and precise. I laughed when the one guy punched someone on the way out of class, though. :)
That's pretty good Adam!
I always carry a white piece of paper with me when I'm being interviewed at work - who wants to look yellow? I think the new small, HD recorders do the white blanace automatically.
I keep asking our instructors if consumer cameras have auto white balance, why can't the professional versions? They just look at me like I'm some amature!!!
Nicely done, Stone. Your non-regional diction sounds pretty good. And you've got that reporter-like lilt to your delivery that says, "I'm interested, but not biased."
@ehome: Great idea.
PS: You should try your "color non-conformity" line on your instructors. Might be a tough sell in that market, though...
They cut us off at the pass with the color "non-conformity" line. They said you can do it, if it's not a news story AND you tell them that was your intent ahead of time.
I must say that the sound on my work computer is jacked up right now which turned your speaking part into an Adam bobblehead doll. Which I must say was quite great.... now Im torn if I should watch it with sound. It may lose its humor.
