Post DINFOS Road Trip -- Prelim

Monte Carlo Badge by Ryan Tow, on flickr.com
Is it bad that Leslie and I are already planning our time after I graduate from BCC-60 (Basic Combat Correspondent 60 Days) on June 25th? I plan on taking some Lockheed vacation from the 26th to July 4th, so we'll fill it with road trip fun. Of course, this doesn't include camping or "roughing it." Leslie demands a roachless hotel every evening along the way. Pffft, women and their demands.

Here's a very tentative plan. We want to visit our friends Christine & Robert in Richmond. She was just married and had the honor of being stop number two in our wedding tour this year.

Then we want to visit Leslie's grandfather in beautiful Van Wert, Ohio. I've never been to Ohio, nor have I met her grandfather. We haven't made plans with him or his wife, but I am looking forward to expierencing cocktail hour.

Now, I don't have any ideas to fill our time between Ohio and a stop in Oklahoma City to see Lydia....oh and my folks and Lydia's parents. (yes, that's a shameless excuse to put up a photo of Lydia. I call her photo "Blue Steel")The Royals go out of town on June 30th. Guess where they are going to play.....that's right Baltimore, 4 days after I leave town. Does anyone have any ideas? If you do put them in the comments.
Royals Update: The Royals took two of three from the Blue Jays after losing seven-in-a-row. They can't seem to score runs. You can read some commentary on the Royals here. The link is all of my Royal Blogs I read on Google Reader.
